The NiSi Cinema 4 x 5.65" Nano Soft-Edge Graduated IRND 0.6 Filter is a rectangular filter that helps to darken specific areas of an image, such as bright skies, while allowing for a normal, unaffected exposure in the other regions of the image. This horizontally oriented filter is densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle, with a soft-edged line of transition between the dense and clear areas. It provides up to a 2-stop reduction in light from entering the lens.

The design of this filter has been optimized for use with digital sensors, and to promote nearly flat attenuation of visible and infrared light. Due to imaging sensors' greater susceptibility to infrared light when compared to traditional film, NiSi's Optical Nano Coating has been applied to each of this filter's surfaces to eliminate color casts and ensure cleaner, truer blacks.

4 x 5.65" graduated neutral density filter darkens bright areas of an image, such as skies, while leaving the remainder of the frame unaffected.
4x filter factor provides up to a 2-stop reduction of light in selective areas.
Soft-edged line of horizontally oriented transition between the dense and clear areas.
Each surface includes NiSi Optical Nano Coating that attenuates infrared light as well as visible wavelengths, to maintain color neutrality and suppress color casts due to increased exposure times.
Scratch-, oil-, and water-resistant nano-coating creates a protective layer over the glass, making it ideal for use in harsh environments and easy to clean.

CONDITION SPECIFICATIONS

Here is a guide to understanding our condition ratings:

Condition 10: "Like New" means the Item looks brand new (i.e., no cosmetic wear and tear), all casings, sensor, glass, buttons and screen(s) are pristine condition with no scuffs, marks or scratches. The Item is in excellent working order with no marks or damage to glass or sensor.

Condition 9: "Excellent" means the Item looks close to new (i.e., only the lightest signs of cosmetic wear), all casings, sensor, glass, buttons and screen(s) are excellent condition with no significant scuffs, marks or scratches. The Item is in excellent working order with no marks or damage to glass or sensor.

Condition 8: "Good" means the Item has good overall condition, may have some signs of cosmetic wear (i.e., light scuffing to some areas / slight shiny surfaces). Any casings, sensor, glass, buttons and screen(s) are good condition and there are no significant chips / scratches or damage. The Item is in excellent working order with no marks / damage to glass or sensor.

Condition 7: "Well Used" means the Item may have significant signs of cosmetic wear (i.e., scuffing to some areas / shiny surfaces / marks). All casings, sensor, glass, buttons and screen(s) are full working condition. There are no marks or damage to the glass or sensor unless specifically stated.

Condition 6: "Heavily Used" means the Item may have significant signs of cosmetic wear (i.e., scuffing / shiny surfaces / marks / scratches / chipping to paint / peeling surfaces). The Item is in full working order with no marks or damage to glass or sensor unless specifically stated.
